City of San Gabriel
City of San Gabriel

The City of San Gabriel is the birthplace of the San Gabriel Valley and the site of the historic Mission San Gabriel, "Queen of the California Missions," founded by Father Junipero Serra in 1771. The 1,500 seat San Gabriel Auditorium is one of the region's cultural treasures and the home of the highly acclaimed Music Theatre of Southern California.

San Gabriel is a community of unique homes and neighborhoods. The community has substantial commercial land and is well connected to regional transportation. As a result, the city is experiencing a significant amount of investment and new construction which is transforming many of the older business areas.
